Pipeline: The Surf Coaster is the world’s first “surf coaster,” a revolutionary Bolliger & Mabillard prototype that reimagines the stand-up coaster experience by mimicking the fluid motion of riding a wave. Located in the “Sea of Power” section, the ride features surfboard-themed trains with innovative, spring-loaded seats that move vertically up and down as you navigate the track, allowing for a personalized sense of weightlessness. The experience begins with a high-speed 60 mph LSM launch—the first of its kind for a standing-position ride—leading into a 110-foot overbanked turn and a signature “wave curl” inversion. With five distinct airtime moments and a layout that includes high-speed helices and “water-trim” effects, Pipeline offers a more comfortable and dynamic alternative to traditional stand-up models while maintaining a high thrill level.
